I'm reading in on all the art theft and I have seriously no idea nymore, I know this was a thing, and that it was bad to begin with, but it has only gotten worse it seems. And it saddens me so many people i watch on here for example to begin with, get ripped off to shreds by this. And others making money of of this, is disgusting.
However i cant phantom the new terms of DA either, I'm seriously at a loss for words.

It's not just, dA, it's everywhere :[ I know the site could do more, but the rate at which things are being stolen / edited  / re sumbitted on places like tumblr and Facebook without credit or just without permission is exponential... I hope someday soon they figure out a way to fix this, on the internet in general, though I honestly don't see how it could get better, with more and more sites like tumblr and pinterest being created every day.. and with how easy it is to edit/ add "filters" to photos and photoshop out watermarks.. it really does seem like an impossibility. It's so depressing to be an artist these days. Amateur hobbyist, student, or professional.

One thing that truly bothers me is when i go onto tumblr and i see all these stunning professional portraits or just amazing art/photography in general, that took so much time and effort to create by the TRUE artist, submitted with the note "edit by me" (which is usually just a black and white edit because that's what' "cool" on tumblr these days).. they think that just because they changed it, it's okay to claim it as theirs and post as theirs.. Even though they have NO right to repost it in the first place. Makes me so mad >< .. jfdklsjflds. Oh the thing that bothers me the MOST is when I see work from artists i know on here being sold as wallpaper by these mass distribution wallpaper sites that operate via pay & download. It's sooo hard to do anything about it. Those people just don't get it. At all.

I hope that in the end, karma is real. And I hope that it truly is a bitch.
